Here's the kidlet yesterday morning right before school in his bat costume. I made the wings that velcro to the sweatshirt. Then the hat and bag with the extra fabric. Turned out to be a great choice since it was about 30 degrees while we trick or treated!! We took him around the neighborhood for the first time this year. He caught on quickly and loved every minute!
Now that Halloween is officially over, the pumpkins are being de-commishoned and the decorations taken down and stored for another year. The best part: the Christmas music started today on our cable music channels!!! : ) It's never too early.
Tomorrow is the first birthday of this blog. Can you believe it?? You know what that means....it's time to start the gingerbread houses again! Made the first batch today. Good timing since the rain is supposed to start tonight.
