We're almost settled! Most of the boxes are unpacked and things are put away. I even took pictures, but I haven't found my camera cord to upload them. Soon, I promise!
We've been busy with the typical home stuff: fixing the toilet (on our first day!), changing locks, changing the plug for the dryer, etc. There's always something that needs attention.
So last night after dinner, we decided to clean the gutters. It's been raining a lot the past few days and three of the four gutters have been overflowing and making a big mess. After an hour of climbing up and down the ladder, they are all unclogged and clean. So now I'm waiting for it to start raining so I can see how they work.
I also started sewing the kidlet's dinosaur costume for Halloween. I'm hoping to have it done by Thursday morning so he can wear it to our MOMS Club party. It's coming along, but there's still a lot to do.
