You know when you see the signs, but you dismiss them as over reacting? Well, I felt that way yesterday afternoon when the kidlet started rubbing his eyes. I thought, "Wow, his eyes must be really itchy...it couldn't be pink eye. He hasn't has that in over a year." Just a thought, then on with our day.
Until 11:30pm last night. Definately pink eye and a pretty bad cough. I just hate that! Not that I could have done anything for his yesterday, but still. At least he went back to sleep. So here's hoping that it's bacterial so the Dr. gives antibiotics to clear it up.
I was up another hour or so lamenting this: the V-day party at school is Wednesday and a B-day party on Saturday. Doubtful the kidlet will be able to go to either. Gotta figure out a way to soften the blow....
