The Fence Project

So tomorrow and Sunday we are finally starting to put some of our plans into action. We are removing the existing side fence in the backyard and putting it more in line with the property line. The pink lines are where the fence will be. Including this side yard will double the size of the back yard. We are also including a gate so we can access the walking trail that backs our property.

To enclose the back yard, we're adding a fence and gate here as well. There's a natural division with the bark mulch there, so that's where the fence will go. (Even with the lines of the house)

On the other side of the house, we're going to put in an oversized gate to enclose this area. (again, indicated by the pink lines). That way we can hide the garbage and recycling cans. This side is less of a priority since we have to dig by hand and it's the smallest area. We may wait until after the kidlet's birthday to do it.

Luckliy, we have a few friends coming to help, as well as a power auger to help dig the majority of the holes. Saturday we'll dig, set posts and disassemble the existing fence. Sunday we'll put all the fencing in. I'll take pictures along the way and share on Monday!

Have a great weekend!
