What seemed like an ordinary day quickly turned into something quite memorable. First, the lady that was hosting playgroup triped on a toy and broke her foot. Totally crazy to watch...seemed like it went in slow motion. She's doing much better today, but no driving for six weeks. Sucks to be her.
Then back home for nap and the kidlet decided to drop my cell phone into my water. Bye, bye phone....It still doesn't work 24 hours later. We're hoping to get it replaced this afternoon. So bare with me if you've called me and I haven't called back.
Mexican food for dinner...YUM! Carol and B ordered me an ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery, chocolate cake layered with peppermint ice cream and chocolate gaunache on top. Soooo goood!
Drove around and looked at Christmas lights for an hour after dinner. Lots of great displays around town this year.
Got a few cards, B and the kidlet got me the new Baking Handbooks from Martha Stewart and Carol got me a killer rolling pin since my old one bit the dust last month. Thank you everyone for the great gifts!!
So today I'm finishing up the baking for the gingerbread party....I've gotten eight rsvp's, so it'll be a full house. Can't wait!

Yeah I am going to echo Lea. I missed your birthday, although I am sure in years to come I won't. I was made a aunt on your birthday. I hope you had an awesome day. It is neat to keep up with your lives.
Take Care,
Lisa and Alex
