This is our new mantra. Mr. Independent has decided he MUST get dressed all by himself, MUST brush his teeth without help and he is too BIG for naps. Wow, am I missing naps!We went to see Curious George at the movie theater this weekend. I'm not sure how it was since the kidlet got scared about 35 minutes in. He and I sat in the lobby and went back in for the end. The soundtrack is fantastic...we've been listening to it for a couple of weeks. Jack Johnson is great.
Birthday party plans are getting underway. Connor wanted a viking party (influenced by the Backyardigans cartoon) but we gently encouraged him into Curious George. A little easier and more appropriate since a bunch of three year olds running around with spears and pretending to pillage might not go over so well. :) So the second Sunday in April, we will transform the house into a mini jungle for all the little monkeys to enjoy.
