Why, oh why?

Why does it take an act of God to get this kid to eat? That's our new daily battle...eating. I don't understand it!

This has been the winter for being sick. The kidlet came down with pink eye last week and developed an ear infection too. A first for us. Nasty little combo. He's better now that he's on antibiotics. To make this situation more intolerable, I have the worst case of tonsillitis I think I've ever had. Viral tonsillitis, which I've never heard of, is not treatable with antibiotics. If I'm not improving by Monday I'm going back in and hoping it's developed into bacterial tonsillitis so I can have some antibiotics. (which I think would have helped from the beginning)

On a happier note, last Tuesday the kidlet was officially enrolled in preschool! We stalked the school the night before and were 6th on the sign up sheet. We ended up getting the second-to-the-last spot for three year olds. He'll be going Tuesday mornings from 8:30-11 and Thursday mornings from 8:30-12. He'll have an hour of music class after his regular day on Thursdays. One of his playgroup friends is also his class.
